Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Everwonder Games LLC (dba as “Better Letter” and herein referred to as “BetterLetter” or “we”) uses personal and other types of information we collect from you when you become a user of our mobile application Better Letter (the “App”) and/or visit us at Everwondergames.com (the “Site”). This policy does not apply to the practices of companies not owned or controlled by Better Letter or to people whom Better Letter does not employ or manage. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use our App or the Site. Your access to and use of the Site and Services is also subject to the Terms of Use. All terms not defined here are defined in the Terms of Use.
1. Types of Information We Collect
A. Personal Information: We collect personal information you provide to us when you register. Such personal information may consist of your full name, username, email address, your location information, age/birthdate, preference information you provide, usage activity about how you interact with us, and your device information (“Personal Information”). We will collect the user’s location (located-based services must be turned on in order to use Better Letter) and your order information. See “Location-Based Services” below.
B. Aggregate and Anonymous Data: Aggregate and anonymous data is information that does not identify you specifically, including data collected automatically when you use our App or enter our Site (“Non-Personal Data”). This may include cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, browser analysis tools and web server logs. This also includes information from the devices you use to access our Site or mobile platform, your operating system type or mobile device model, browser type, domain, and other system settings, as well as the language your system uses and the country and time zone of your device. Our server logs also record the IP addresses of the devices you use to interact with the Site or the App. We may also collect information about a website or an app you were visiting before you came to our Site and any website or app you visit after you leave our Site, if this information is supplied to us by your browser. We may also use software tools, such as Javascript, to measure and collect session information, including page response times, download errors, and methods used to browse away from the page. Non-Personal Data also includes some data collected by location services.
2. How We Use Personal Information and Non-Personal Data
We use Personal Information and Non-Personal Data to:
• Build, operate and improve our Site and the Services;
• Provide customer support;
• Send you reminders, technical notices, updates, security alerts and support and administrative messages;
• Manage our everyday business needs such as App and Site administration, analytics, fraud prevention, or to comply with the law.
3. When and Why We Disclose Personal Information and Non-Personal Data
Better Letter may share Non-Personal Data with third parties to learn information about how our users interact with the App and/or the Site (such as the number of users accessing a particular feature of the App and which ad links were clicked on). This enables us to optimize the Service, improve our efforts and provide the most relevant content. See also “Third Party Analytics” below. Except as provided above, we will not sell, license or otherwise disclose your Personal Information to third parties unless when required by law, or if we have good faith belief that such action is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with current judicial proceedings, a court order or legal process served on us, (b) protect and defend our rights, property and interests, including by enforcing our agreements, policies and Terms of Use, (c) respond to claims that any submitted content violates the rights of third parties; (d) respond to your requests for customer service; (e) protect the rights, property or personal safety of BetterLetter, its members and the public, (f) in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company, or (g) with your consent to share the information.
4. Location-Based Services
Every time you use the App on your mobile device or use the Site, we access your location information from your mobile device or browser to customize the Better Letter experience to your current location. Also, we use your mobile device’s “background location”. Background location tells us about your device’s location even if you are not directly interacting with the application. We collect your location-based data through, for example, the Wi-Fi routers closest to you and the cell IDs of the towers closest to you. We use location-based data, which may be Non-Personal Data or may contain Personal Information, for the following purposes:
• To confirm your location;
• To improve the relevance of content of the Service;
5. Your Choices
You can opt-out of receiving our marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each such marketing email or by contacting us at hello@Everwondergames.com. We will retain your information only for as long as needed to provide you the Services or as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Better Letter’s Privacy Policy does not apply to the sharing of your Personal Information by you with others.
6. Security of Personal Information
We employ generally accepted industry standards to protect your personal information and we continuously strive to protect your information and privacy as much as we can. Unfortunately, no data transmission over Wi-Fi or the Internet can be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you disclose or transmit to us online.
7. Third Party Analytics
This Privacy Policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information by BetterLetter. We may use analytics services to help us analyze the information we have collected from you. These analytics services may use cookies, web beacons and other devices and technologies to track traffic data. Data that they collect typically includes, but is not limited to, your IP address, your ISP, the browser you use to visit our Site. This Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we are not responsible for, such technologies placed by third party analytics services.
8. Children
Better Letter is not directed at children under the age of 13, and does not consciously collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 13.
9. Modifications
We may occasionally modify the Privacy Policy. All changes will be effective upon posting on the Site. You can determine when the Privacy Policy was last revised by referring to the “Last Updated” legend at the top of the page. You agree to be bound by any such changes if you continue to use the Site after such changes have been posted. We may change, restrict access to, suspend or discontinue the Site or the App, or any portion of the Site or the App, at any time.
